Our Garlic Pickles are also known as Full Sours or “Deli Style.” They’re tangy, garlicky, and full of flavor, with a slightly softer texture due to brining for over 3 months.
Half Sours are crisp and fresh—like a cucumber with a light saltiness. At farmers markets, they’re often called “New Pickles.” As they ferment during transit, they may appear less green, but they’re still safe and delicious to eat.
Note: We do not offer refunds for naturally “turned” Half Sours, as this is part of their fermentation process.
While most products are nut-free, we do carry Almond-Stuffed Olives. As a result, there may be trace amounts of nuts in our facility.
Our Sweet Pickle Chips, Sweet Chili Chips, and Sweet Horseradish Chips do not contain sugar, but they are made with a sweetener.
Yes! Our Half Sours and Full Sours are made through natural fermentation and do not contain vinegar.
Yes, it is! Our sauerkraut is raw and made using traditional fermentation methods.
Yes. To preserve freshness, crunch, and flavor, all Pickle Joy products should be kept refrigerated.
Absolutely! Cloudiness is natural and happens over time due to the fermentation process. Half Sours typically have a clearer brine, while Full Sours may appear darker and more opaque.
We ship via FedEx 2-Day Express and FedEx Ground within the 48 contiguous United States. We do not currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or internationally. PO boxes, APO, and FPO addresses are also excluded.
After placing an order, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your order details and number. Once your order ships, a second email will include your tracking information.
Please contact us as soon as possible. If the order hasn’t shipped, we can update the address. If the package has already shipped, a $25 fee may apply for redirection. We are not responsible for orders undelivered due to incorrect addresses.
Your pickles are carefully packed in sealed plastic containers to prevent leaks. We also use insulated bags and cold packs to keep everything fresh during transit. Be sure to refrigerate your items once they arrive.
We ship Monday through Wednesday (excluding holidays). Orders received after 3:00 PM ET will be processed the next business day. Thursday shipments are only available if you select Next Day or 2-Day Saturday Home Delivery.
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your items (for 2-Day Express) and your location (for FedEx Ground).
No signature is required for delivery. Pickle Joy is not responsible for lost or stolen packages or incorrect addresses. If you’re sending a gift, please alert the recipient. If delivery is refused or undeliverable, a new order will need to be placed.
We’re not responsible for carrier delays or weather-related disruptions. If your order is affected and arrives perished (typically Half Sours), you must file a claim with FedEx.
Please email us at orders@picklejoy.com within 2 days of receiving your package. Include photos for our records. Depending on the issue, we’ll offer a replacement or refund. Reports made after 2 days are not eligible for refund or replacement. Shipping fees are non-refundable.Note: If shipping costs increase substantially, we may issue a refund rather than a replacement.
We do not accept returns on perishable items, but we stand by our products! If there’s an issue with quality, reach out to orders@picklejoy.com within 2 days. Please note: we do not refund or replace orders based on taste preferences such as “too crunchy,” “too soft,” or “too spicy.”
